Description
The Robotic Programmer will independently or under the supervision of an Automation Lead develop, maintain, and troubleshoot robotic programs and fixtures for Howmet La Porte’s manufacturing processes. The role includes offline programming, process-variable monitoring, documentation, operator training, and cross-functional defect prevention. Candidates need a high school or GED, a two-year technical degree, or at least three years of related manufacturing programming experience; Motoman and Fanuc robot experience, offline programming, fixture design, CNC programming, and Six Sigma knowledge are preferred. The position may require flexibility across all shifts and does not offer visa sponsorship.
