Kia America is hiring an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice in Montgomery Village, Maryland, through its Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program. The full-time role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Kia vehicles across mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems; completing repair orders and warranty documentation; test-driving vehicles; and communicating with service advisors and shop foremen. Applicants must have an honorable U.S. military discharge, a valid driver’s license, prior mechanical or technical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and willingness to complete background and drug screening. The program provides dealership training, tools, support, and a path to Kia Service Technician certification, with GI Bill®-approved eligibility and possible Monthly Housing Allowance.
