Pony.ai is hiring for an autonomous driving planning software role focused on designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance, reliable L4 autonomous driving planning algorithms and systems. The work includes safety fallbacks for end-to-end model outputs, redundant low-compute autonomous driving systems, road-test big-data processing, and simulation platform development. Candidates need software engineering experience, proficiency in a mainstream programming language such as C++, C, Python, or Java, knowledge of data structures and algorithms, strong communication and collaboration, and the ability to transform and model complex problems. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required; a master’s degree and motion-planning or robotics experience are preferred.
