Description
Vapi is hiring an individual contributor to own and launch its platform for autonomous, background engineering. The role will connect sandboxes, CI, verification, and background agents into a cohesive system, build a real-time voice AI agent harness, and create automated quality gates and telemetry for agents that place real calls and produce review-ready pull requests. The position requires hands-on platform and infrastructure engineering, experience with agent harnesses and LLM evaluation, knowledge of secure agent interfaces and sandboxed runtimes, and fluency in TypeScript, Python, or Go across distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
