Description
Electra is hiring an Autonomy Chief Engineer to lead the design, integration, requirements, certification, and development planning of flight autonomy systems for the EL9 aircraft and future products. The role partners with government and commercial programs, suppliers, the EL9 PMO, and certification teams; defines system architecture and operational plans; leads trade studies and gate reviews; and supports airworthiness certification. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in an aerospace, computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or related field, extensive flight-autonomy or highly automated systems experience, and US-person status. The compensation range is $175,000–$215,000 USD, with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
