Description
Skydio is hiring a Deep Learning Engineer to design, implement, and deploy computer vision and multimodal deep learning models for its autonomous aerial-robot products. The role involves training and optimizing models for tasks such as optical flow, depth estimation, object detection, segmentation, tracking, place recognition, localization, mapping, few-shot learning, occupancy networks, and path planning; using real-world and synthetic data; applying foundation models; developing evaluation benchmarks; and optimizing for low-latency embedded hardware. Candidates should have an M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, hands-on deep-learning experience, Python/PyTorch and preferably C++ coding ability, and strong communication skills.
