Shield AI is hiring a full-time Autonomy Software Engineer to design tactical autonomy algorithms, develop high-performance C++ software, implement multi-agent behavior architectures, integrate classical and machine-learning-based autonomy, and deploy solutions to unmanned aircraft and other platforms. The role requires a relevant advanced degree, 7+ years of experience in autonomy-related software systems, leadership and full-system ownership capabilities, and eligibility for a U.S. Secret security clearance. The position includes approximately 10–15% travel and offers a regular employee package with pay, bonus, benefits, and equity.
