York Space Systems is hiring an Autonomy Software Engineer to develop embedded flight software in C/C++ for spacecraft systems, including state-machine models, algorithms, reusable components, testing, and on-orbit operations support. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, at least four years of software engineering experience focused on embedded software, embedded Linux experience, distributed-systems API knowledge, Git experience, and the ability to mentor engineers and collaborate across stakeholders. The position is full-time in the Laurel, Maryland office and does not support remote or hybrid work.
