Textron Specialized Vehicles is hiring an Autonomy Systems Engineer in Ipswich, Suffolk, to develop and integrate the onboard autonomy stack for Jacobsen vehicles. The role covers vehicle-level system integration, safety-critical architecture, embedded software and vehicle-control interfaces, sensor integration, field testing, and functional-safety activities. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering or computer-science field and at least two years of experience in autonomous or robotic systems integration.
