The AV Technician supports a residential smart-home integration company in Northbrook, Illinois, by assisting with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of existing Control4 and Savant systems. The role involves diagnosing client issues remotely and in person, supporting lead service technicians on site visits, maintaining service records, and developing independence in service work. Applicants need 1–3 years of AV cabling or basic installation experience, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills; familiarity with Control4, Savant, or similar smart-home systems is preferred.
