Description
HDR is hiring an Aviation Engineer to support aviation and airport civil engineering projects. The role includes design and plan production for site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, and other airfield civil engineering activities. Responsibilities include interpreting FAA and USACE guidance, preparing scopes and fee estimates, coordinating with agencies and clients, performing analyses and design, leading field reviews, applying quality management procedures, and supporting marketing and technical project write-ups. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, a Professional Engineer license, prior airfield planning and design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AVI-Plan, InfraWorks, and Microsoft Office.
