The Aircrew Program Manager oversees air carrier aircrew ground and flight training, testing, standards, designated examiners, and Aircrew Program Designees. The role includes surveillance of pilot and flight engineer check airmen, enforcement investigations, certificate suspensions or cancellations, reexaminations, flight tests, type ratings, proficiency and initial qualification tests, line-oriented flight training, and technical assistance to inspectors and legal counsel.
