Description

The Principal Flight Oversight Inspector (PFOI) provides full-range certification, surveillance, and inspection oversight for assigned Part 121 air carriers, air operators, air agencies, airmen, and designees. The role establishes inspection and surveillance programs, applies advanced knowledge of aviation safety and Federal regulations, manages risk and hazards, and advises field-level Aviation Safety Inspectors on complex policy interpretations. The position requires U.S. citizenship, an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, at least 1,500 total flight hours, and substantial multi-engine aircraft and aviation safety experience.
