The Assistant Principal Operations Inspector serves as a full assistant to a Principal Inspector (Operations) for the Wheels Up JTT Flight Program at the Denver FSDO, performing certification, surveillance, inspection, enforcement, and compliance duties for assigned air carriers, air operators, air agencies, airmen, and designees. The role includes technical administration, training-program evaluation, operations-specification approvals, investigations, MEL coordination, and on-site safety inspections, while also participating in the flight program as an aircrew member. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, hold the specified aviation certificates and flight-hour qualifications, and demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience in FAR Part 135 operational certification, surveillance, investigation, or compliance recommendations.
