The Palmdale School District is hiring a temporary, part-time AVID Tutor to support intermediate-grade students in the AVID program. The role involves small-group tutoring, binder evaluation, study-skills instruction, college preparation, and regular communication with teachers and the AVID coordinator. Applicants must be enrolled in college or university, have a high school diploma or GED, and meet one of the listed higher-education or academic-proficiency requirements. The position pays $16.90 per hour, may work two or three days per week, and does not include fringe benefits or holiday pay.
