Description

Relativity Space is hiring a Battery Technician to assemble, test, maintain, and repair battery systems for energy storage, electric vehicles, industrial equipment, and backup power applications. The role includes inspecting and diagnosing battery systems, verifying charge and discharge performance, assembling battery packs and wiring harnesses, conducting capacity and load tests, documenting results, and replacing defective components. It is a second-shift position scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. PT, with a 50-hour workweek including 10 guaranteed overtime hours. The position requires knowledge of electrical systems, DC power, basic electronics, wiring diagrams, diagnostic tools, Li-ion cells, and wire bonding; experience in EV, solar, aerospace, or industrial battery environments and familiarity with BMS are preferred. Compensation is $28.12–$42.18 USD.
