Description

Blue Origin is hiring an Avionics Cable Harness Design Engineer to design, integrate, install, assemble, and test electrical cable harnesses for New Glenn launch vehicle systems. The role covers power distribution, RF, communications, high-speed data, harness components and connectors, EMI/RFI shielding, 3D routed harness modeling and 2D installation drawings using Creo, Windchill, and Routed System Designer, as well as support bracket design, technical trade studies, schedule and status reporting, and process improvements. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or another appropriate engineering field, at least five years of aerospace wire-harness design experience, applicable harness standards knowledge, wire derating analysis experience, strong 3D CAD electrical/mechanical integration skills, and required U.S. work authorization.
