Description
The Avionics/Electrical Technician provides technical expertise in aircraft systems testing, troubleshooting, installation, repair, and replacement of electrical and avionics components. The role includes operating test equipment, performing functional and operational tests, documenting work, supporting engineering changes and aircraft certification testing, and adapting to schedule changes. Compensation is $33.81 per hour for straight time and $50.72 per hour for overtime, with overtime required as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with either four years of avionics or electrical experience or two years of accredited aviation electronics schooling plus two years of related experience; an A&P license, FCC, and NCATT are preferred.
