Avionics Electrical Engineer role at Impulse Space focused on designing, testing, debugging, and integrating custom circuit boards and avionics devices for electric propulsion spacecraft systems. The engineer will develop hardware from board design through qualification and flight operations, perform analysis and simulations, define interfaces, verify requirements, and collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, propulsion, and test teams. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, hands-on electronics troubleshooting, and knowledge of analog/power circuit design, with preferred experience in spaceflight avionics, Altium Designer, and startup/agile environments.
