Starpath is hiring a full-time Power Electronics Avionics Engineer in Carson, California to own the design of a power converter for its Starlight solar array product from system architecture through qualification and production. The role covers converter topology, components, magnetics, control loops, sensing, protection, PCB design, thermal and EMI performance, hardware bring-up, testing, failure investigation, and launch-environment design, with occasional travel. Candidates need at least three years of power-electronics or power-conversion hardware experience, relevant electrical-engineering education or equivalent experience, and strong knowledge of power-converter design, PCB layout, testing, and space-environment design.
