Description

E-Space is hiring an Avionics Engineering Lead to oversee the development, testing, and delivery of electronic hardware and FPGA firmware for satellites. The role manages 8+ Electrical and FPGA engineers, plans and tracks engineering work, establishes department standards, supports design reviews and troubleshooting, and conducts performance evaluations. The position is full-time and exempt, based in the Saratoga, California office, and offers a target base salary of $150,000 to $220,000 annually.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of Electrical Engineering management experience leading teams of 6 or more
10+ years of experience in new electronics product development, testing, and flight in aerospace applications
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Experience with antenna design and wireless RF links
Experience designing for space environments, including radiation impacts and mitigation
Familiarity with Altium Designer
FPGA design skills
C/C++ or Python skills
