Description
Lockheed Martin is hiring an Avionics and Instrumentation Technician to support the F-35 program at the Patuxent River flight test site. The role maintains, inspects, services, repairs, modifies, and troubleshoots F-35 aircraft, including avionics systems, instrumentation, wire and connector repair, software and hardware testing, and weapon loading. Candidates need 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a 5- or 7-skill-level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or USMC MOS Avionics Systems Craftsman discipline, or equivalent commercial experience, along with experience in maintenance systems, engineering drawings, and safety and quality programs. The position is based in NAS Pax River, Maryland, requires U.S. citizenship and an Interim Secret security clearance, and pays $35.27–$55.70 per hour.
