Description
Lockheed Martin is hiring an Avionics & Instrumentation Technician to support the F-35 program at the Patuxent River flight test site. The role maintains, inspects, services, repairs, modifies, fabricates, and loads weapons on F-35 aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modification projects, and advanced integration testing. Candidates need 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a relevant military avionics craft or equivalent commercial experience, along with wire/connector repair, engineering-drawing interpretation, maintenance-information-systems, and safety-program experience. F-35/F-22, flight-test, instrumentation, coax, data-bus, fiber-optic, and JEDI/ALIS experience are desired. The position is based in NAS Pax River, Maryland, requires U.S. citizenship and an Interim Secret security clearance, and pays $35.27–$55.70.
