Description
Western Aircraft is hiring an Avionics Intern for transitioning military service members through its SkillBridge program. The internship provides up to 40 hours per week of hands-on training in aircraft avionics installations, troubleshooting, and repairs at an FAA-certified repair station, with potential evaluation for a full-time position after completion. Interns work in an aircraft hangar, follow safety procedures, complete work orders in Corridor, and may work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred qualifications include two years of general or military aviation avionics and electronics experience and FCC certification; applicants must pass drug and background screening and obtain airport security badge and command approval.
