Description
Hillsboro Aviation is hiring an Avionics Manager to lead the avionics department at its service center in Hillsboro, Oregon. Reporting to the Service Center Manager, the role oversees avionics projects, troubleshooting and repair, customer and vendor relationships, budget and capacity planning, team development, regulatory compliance, safety, and performance metrics. The position requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, at least 10 years of avionics installation and repair experience, extensive Garmin avionics experience, project management and team-management experience, and a valid FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License and unrestricted driver’s license. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend work and less than 10% travel.
