Description
The Avionics Aircraft Technician performs detailed maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, repairs, modifications, and functional testing on aircraft, mission systems, and components in a base maintenance environment. The role requires competency with approved technical data and the Maintenance Organisation Exposition, strong fault-analysis skills, and compliance with Part 145, safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Candidates need a Level 3 qualification in aircraft maintenance or electrical/electronic engineering, at least three years of aircraft base or line maintenance experience, Garmin avionics experience, experience with specified KingAir and Diamond aircraft, Human Factors training, and ISR mission-systems experience.
