Description
The Third Shift Avionics Technician works in the Avionics department under the Avionics Manager, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, documentation, and compliance work for aircraft systems. The role requires reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, following Kalitta Air and FAA procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and occasionally lifting more than 50 pounds. A high school education or some college and/or technical school is required, while an Airframe or A&P license is preferred but not required; military experience is accepted. The position requires United States citizenship and is performed primarily in a construction or maintenance setting.
