Description
Michigan State University is hiring an AVP for Research Infrastructure/Capacity Building in East Lansing to provide executive leadership and administrative oversight for shared research resources, including the Research Technology Support Facility, the MSU Bioeconomy Institute, and the St. Andrews Facility in Midland. The role leads strategic infrastructure planning, core-facility operations, capacity-building initiatives, research space management, external funding partnerships, and cross-campus coordination, while reporting to the Vice President for Research and Innovation. The position requires a terminal degree, senior academic or professional standing, federal research funding experience, and prior central research administration experience.
