Description
The Senior Java Backend Engineer will assess Java applications affected by Oracle database and JDBC driver upgrades, implement code and configuration changes, and support integration, regression, deployment, and production stabilization. The role requires enterprise Java and Spring Boot development, Oracle connectivity, JDBC upgrades, SQL troubleshooting, testing, CI/CD, and collaboration with application, database, infrastructure, DevOps, QA, security, and client teams. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 7+ years of software engineering experience are required, with 5+ years of Java/Spring Boot and 2+ years of Oracle connectivity or application compatibility experience. The base compensation range is $145,000-$160,000.
