Description

MANTECH is hiring a full-time AWS Cloud Engineer for its Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The role provides Tier 2 administration, troubleshooting, and support for Windows Server, Windows client, and RHEL environments; architects and maintains AWS cloud environments using Kion; develops SaltStack automation; supports CI/CD pipelines; and monitors performance, availability, and security. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent systems-engineering experience, an IAT II certification, TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and substantial systems administration or cloud engineering experience. Compensation is projected at $128,000–$214,400, with health insurance and other benefits available.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related professional engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
Required Previous Experiences: 5 years of System Engineer experience may substitute for the degree
20 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity
Experience with the IAVM process and coordinating infrastructure security findings with ISSOs and Security
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in enterprise or government environments
Familiarity with cloud security compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53 and ICD 503
Hands-on AWS infrastructure deployment, management, and troubleshooting experience
Experience building automated patching and infrastructure deployment workflows with SaltStack
Familiarity with Apache NiFi, Jira, Confluence, SafeNet HSMs, certificate authority management, and GitLab
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in an agile, fast-paced team environment
