Description

RDTS is looking for an experienced AWS Security Engineer to join their team in Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud architectures within AWS. They will strengthen the cloud security posture, implement various security controls, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, 100% onsite position.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of experience in cloud security or infrastructure security
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with STIG hardening
Experience with container security (EKS, ECS, image scanning)
Knowledge of identity federation (SSO, SAML, OIDC)
Experience integrating AWS logs with SIEM platforms
Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture principles
AWS certifications (AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Solutions Architect, etc.)
Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+)
