AWS is hiring a Software Engineer to join its Infrastructure Services team at HQ2 in Arlington, Virginia. The role operates AWS infrastructure services at scale in air-gapped environments, including deployment orchestration, continuous delivery, integration testing, feature management, resource replication, and AI agent infrastructure. Responsibilities include cross-partition deployment parity, complex distributed-systems troubleshooting, automation, code reviews, and improving the AWS builder experience. The position requires strong Linux and networking fundamentals, software development and CI/CD experience, at least two years of professional software development experience, seven years of systems engineering experience, a bachelor's degree or CSSLP, and an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
