Description

The Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will build, operate, and improve Azure cloud infrastructure supporting SaleDock and Celerant retail and ecommerce systems. The role manages production and test environments, monitors performance and capacity, automates provisioning and deployment through CI/CD pipelines, develops support tooling, handles incidents, and applies security and networking best practices. It is a hybrid or remote position in the United States with a salary of 85,000–120,000.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Strong experience managing cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM
Strong CI/CD pipeline experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Experience supporting production workloads and diagnosing performance issues
Understanding of networking concepts including VNETs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and DNS
Experience with Linux administration and Windows Server where relevant
Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Grafana
Preferred Qualifications: Experience running multi-tenant ecommerce or SaaS platforms
Experience with scaling strategies, load balancing, and resilience planning
Understanding of Azure security frameworks and governance, including Defender, Policy, and RBAC
Experience building internal support tooling or operational dashboards
