Description
ApTask is seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect / Data Modeler with a strong insurance background to design and implement enterprise-grade, end-to-end data architectures using Azure-native services. The role focuses on building scalable cloud data platforms, defining logical and physical data models for insurance underwriting, claims, policy administration, and reporting, optimizing data pipelines, establishing governance and security standards, and providing technical leadership. Required skills include Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, enterprise-scale data pipelines, insurance data modeling, distributed data processing, and regulatory or actuarial reporting; hands-on Azure Databricks and PySpark experience is preferred. The stated rate range is $65-$70 per hour.
