Description
The Azure Databricks Architect will define and lead scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on Microsoft Azure, combining architectural leadership with hands-on design, development, optimization, and delivery. Responsibilities include end-to-end platform architecture, reusable ELT frameworks, Spark and pipeline optimization, Azure Databricks and related services, governance and security, troubleshooting, code reviews, production support, and cloud-native modernization. The role requires 15+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or platform engineering, along with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks, Spark, Python/Scala, SQL, Delta Lake, cloud data hubs, and Azure DevOps CI/CD practices.
