Aircall is hiring a Backend/AI Engineer to develop scalable AI applications for its customer communications platform. The role focuses on agent context, agent infrastructure, MCP, and agent memory, and involves collaboration with backend, frontend, infrastructure, product, and leadership teams. The engineer will participate in requirements analysis and system design, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, availability, and performance. The position requires 8+ years of backend development experience using Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java, with AI knowledge and AWS production experience preferred. The base salary range is $195,000–$250,000 USD.
