Octopus Electroverse is hiring a Backend Engineer to join a primary squad and develop critical services for its electric vehicle charging platform. The role focuses on building robust and scalable backend functionality, observability, data analysis, defensive programming, CPO integrations, API development, databases, and CI/CD. Candidates should have at least two years of commercial experience with Python, strong communication skills, and experience with Git, databases, and API development; Django, B2B product features, OCPI, and third-party API integration are nice to have.
