Pango is hiring a Backend Developer for its Billing Platform team to own and modernize high-scale billing infrastructure, including invoice generation, payment processing, settlements, integrations, and transaction processing. The role involves designing and building scalable distributed systems and microservices, implementing event-driven architectures, developing robust APIs, improving development practices through automation and AI, handling production issues, and collaborating with internal and external teams. Candidates need at least four years of complex backend development experience with C# or Python, distributed-systems and microservices experience, database and cloud expertise, and billing or financial-systems background.
