Description
NorthStar Earth & Space is hiring intermediate and senior software developers for its Image Processing and Orbit Determination teams. The role involves designing, implementing, testing, and deploying processing pipelines and software; applying distributed cloud processing and big-data technologies; deploying automated workflows; participating in technical reviews; documenting software; and contributing to product roadmaps. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, experience with Go, Java, or Python, distributed systems, Kubernetes, CI/CD, databases, Temporal, and high-volume data tools such as Apache Iceberg and Apache Spark. The position offers a hybrid model, medical and dental coverage, and an office in Old Montreal.
