Treeswift is hiring a Backend Engineer to own the backend services and infrastructure for its web platform used by utility customers. The role covers Python/Django backend development, PostgreSQL and PostGIS data modeling, REST API design, authentication, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code. The engineer will collaborate with data, machine learning, and frontend teams and engage with utility customers to understand product requirements. The position offers a base salary of $180,000 to $230,000 for NYC-based roles, along with medical, dental, vision, equity, retirement, and other benefits.
