Amber is hiring a Backend Engineer to develop and optimize scalable backend services for its AI-powered platform. The role involves integrating data sources through APIs, contributing to microservices architecture, collaborating with AI, frontend, and DevOps teams, and ensuring security, data quality, performance, modularity, and clean interfaces. Candidates should have experience with scalable microservices and REST APIs, daily Python work, C/C++ expertise, modular software architecture, clean code, system design, and communication in German and English. The position follows a hybrid model with three in-person meetings per week and is limited to applicants residing in Germany.
