Catawiki is hiring a Backend Engineer to support one of its Demand, Supply, or Fulfilment verticals and build scalable, maintainable microservices and features for its online marketplace. The role owns the full lifecycle of services, collaborates with product and engineering teams, improves engineering processes, and contributes to product quality. It requires strong software engineering foundations, at least seven years of software development experience, at least three years of customer-facing product experience, backend service expertise, API and database knowledge, and excellent English communication. The position is hybrid in Amsterdam, requires candidates to be based in the Netherlands, and does not offer visa sponsorship or relocation support.
