Description
The Backend Engineer will own backend infrastructure for permissions, auditability, traceability, and observability across hosted and self-hosted deployments supporting fund accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and treasury automation. The role involves managing infrastructure-as-code deployments, improving production reliability, security, performance, and observability, partnering with product, and applying AI-native development practices. It requires 1–6 years of backend development experience, production experience with TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Terraform or Pulumi, and AI or LLM systems. The position is on-site in Berlin, Germany, with a salary of 70,000 to 110,000 EUR per year and visa sponsorship available.
