Description
The Backend Engineer will build and own cloud-native backend services for an R&D product, using Go as the primary language and Java where needed. Responsibilities include designing and shipping APIs, data models, tests, rollouts, and production health, while collaborating on scalability and reliability trade-offs and keeping pace with DevOps and cloud-native practices. The role requires 3–5 years of backend service experience, strong production experience, web API knowledge, database and data-modeling experience, automated testing and CI familiarity, and the ability to use AI coding tools effectively.
