Customer.io is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join their Platform team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and owning the infrastructure that powers Customer.io's marketing automation platform, handling massive data volumes, orchestrating complex workflows, and ensuring reliable operation for thousands of customers globally. This role involves designing and evolving distributed systems in Go, leading architectural decisions, improving service communication, resolving bottlenecks, and debugging production systems.
