Drivetrain is hiring a Backend Engineer to work on challenging backend application development, algorithms, system design, and production systems. The role involves designing abstractions, handling data across multiple systems, evaluating operational feasibility, maintaining component quality and security, reviewing other developers’ code, contributing documentation, and helping shape engineering practices. The technology stack includes Java, Spring, Hibernate, Redis, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and AWS. Candidates should be problem solvers with strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems, at least three years of software engineering experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach.
