EXANTE is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join their small team responsible for building and owning the AI layer of their sales organization. The role involves designing and implementing an agentic system used by sales relationship managers worldwide, focusing on areas such as agent construction, evaluation mechanisms, and integration with existing company systems like CRM and Jira. The ideal candidate will possess strong backend engineering skills in TypeScript/Node.js, Python, and familiarity with various AI-related tools and frameworks.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience in building LLM agents in production.
Strong evaluation discipline.
Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and Python, capable of building frontend features independently.
Ability to fluently build with agents using platforms like Claude Code.
High autonomy, taking ownership of scopes and completing them independently.
Strong security instincts, proactively identifying vulnerabilities.
Attention to detail in interface design, prioritizing minimalism.
Preferred Qualifications: Background in financial services, brokerage, or fintech.
Experience with Slack applications, CRM integrations, and OAuth/on-behalf-of flows.
Knowledge of agent observability and tracing at scale.
