Jetbro is hiring a Backend Engineer to build and maintain APIs, services, data pipelines, and database systems for a high-traffic consumer technology platform. The role is polyglot, using TypeScript/JavaScript with Express and Python with FastAPI or Django, along with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, CI/CD, cloud deployments, Redis, message queues, and AI coding assistants. Responsibilities include designing schemas, optimizing queries, developing scalable APIs, integrating microservices, debugging, monitoring, and owning features end to end.
