Description
Menlo is hiring a Backend or Software Engineer to build Jan Router, an enterprise LLM gateway that routes requests across multiple model providers and provides billing, metering, quotas, API-key management, rate limiting, and RBAC. The role owns the architecture and first production deployment, handles streaming and performance, and contributes to the Jan Agent by routing its model and tool calls through the gateway. The engineer will work in a lean, agent-native environment, using parallel coding and execution agents, and will make deliberate trade-offs between speed and correctness.
