Railway is hiring a backend engineer to architect and scale high-throughput systems for billing, payments, fraud detection, usage metering, queues, event pipelines, databases, and long-running workflows. The role owns end-to-end features, including TypeScript and GraphQL APIs, Postgres, Node.js, Temporal, and payment-provider integrations, while also contributing to open-source tooling and on-call duties.
